Talascend is currently seeking an Electronics Technician for a contract opportunity with our client in Milford, Michigan .


Overview


The role involves working on electrical components, soldering, assisting engineers, and testing within a cutting-edge program focused on designing propulsion controllers. The position is onsite, with a flexible schedule during first shift hours, supporting a new and growing team developing innovative technology.


Responsibilities

li. Solder small electrical components such as 0805, 0402, etc. Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred, High school diploma required
• 8-10 years of experience, with 3-5 years in electronics
• Ability to create (design and build) wire harnesses and test boxes
• Proficiency in soldering small electrical components
• Experience with bench lab equipment like oscilloscopes, power supplies, load boxes, and flash tools
• Hands-on and capable of working independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with schematic markup and visual inspection of printed circuit boards

This position requires physical ability to perform tasks such as soldering, mechanical assembly, and operating lab equipment, with a focus on supporting a busy engineering team working on innovative propulsion technology.
