Job Title: Clienttion Therapist Profession: Allied Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8hr Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Radiotherapy Technologist (ARRT-T) Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Proficient in the use of Varian Truebeam Linear Accelerators Description: Outpatient Cancer Clinic treats an average of 60 to 100 patients per day. The department operates three machines daily. First-time travelers are accepted. Responsibilities include providing radiation therapy to outpatient ambulatory cancer patients. Experience with specified equipment and various cancer diagnoses is required. Leadership support is available within the department. Approximately 12 therapists work per shift. Technology used includes EMR systems and departmental equipment relevant to radiation therapy. May need to float to other radiation therapy sites with manager approval if not comfortable. Weekend rotations are possible but unlikely. Weekend call is rotated amongst the entire team. The department is closed on holidays. Manager approval is required for requests for time off. Shift times are Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. The department culture is incredibly diverse and collegial.
